Accommodation

All delegates and authors are expected to make their own travel and hotel arrangements.
A block booking with special rates has been made at San Servolo to accommodate participants. As the number of rooms on the island is limited, delegates are advised to book their accommodation as soon as possible and strictly by September 10th 2012. After this date the availability of rooms cannot be guaranteed. Reservations for accommodation at San Servolo should be emailed directly to the venue on reception@sanservolo.provincia.venezia.it by filling in the accommodation form provided.

Prices are as follows:

All rates listed are per room per night (NOT per person) and do not include breakfast and meals. Local charges amounting to € 0,98 per person per night will be charged at check-out.
A one-night deposit to be paid by credit card will be requested at the time of booking. For further details please see the enclosed accommodation form.

The Organising Committee of the Venice 2012 Symposium has also arranged for special hotel rates for Symposium delegates at a number of hotels situated in the immediate vicinity of St Mark’s Square in Venice. Rates are illustrated in the table attached. All rates listed are per room per night and include room, breakfast and taxes. Local charges (varying from €1,25 to €4 p.p.p.n.) are not included.

Delegates are kindly requested to contact the hotel of their choice directly, quoting the event name (Venice 2012) to ensure the promotional rate is applied. Hotels have assigned a limited number of rooms to this offer. Delegates are therefore advised to book their accommodation as soon as possible.

Under no circumstances may the Symposium Organisers be held responsible for issues pertaining to hotel accommodation. Any complaints should be addressed directly with the hotel.
