GITISA Winter School

This year’s GITISA (Italian Group of Sanitary Environmental Engineering) Winter School for PhD students will be held during the Venice 2012 Symposium in San Servolo, Venice, Italy.

The Winter School will focus on ‘Biochemical and thermochemical pathways for energy generation from waste and biomass’, will see the participation of leading international experts in the field and will include plenary presentations by PhD students.

The official language of the Winter School, as well as that of the Symposium, is English.

Registration to the GITISA Winter School 2012 costs €500 + VAT 21% (€605) and includes:

  • Participation to all Symposium sessions
  • Symposium proceedings
  • Conference material
  • Coffee breaks
  • Light working lunches
  • Technical tours
  • Selected evening events (to be defined)

A limited number of rooms with special rates have been booked at San Servolo to accommodate students.
Price per person per night is € 40,5 in shared double room. Rates do not include breakfast and meals.
Local charges amounting to € 0,70 per night will be charged at check-out.
